Driver’s License Renewal

Entry 590 for Wednesday November 24, 2021

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Dropped off Andy at campus; down to city center to renew my drivers license this morning; picked up Alex to help her pick something up; event on campus with the graduating computing (ISC) students who invited me as their padrino (godfather).
  2. What did you enjoy? It was nice to see my students, most who I have not seen in person since the first few months of 2020.
  3. What did you find difficult? I was battling frustration with poor instructions, many lines, and a generally confusing process to renew my driver’s license.
  4. What has changed? I finally managed to get my license renewed, I was dreading the process in normal times and more so in covid times.

Sign in Spanish beside the camera for driver's license picture. Clearly stating to not remove your mask (but was asked for the photo) and to use anti-bacterial gel (there was none around).
