Confusion

Entry 591 for Thursday November 25, 2021

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Morning meeting with Moisés about MCY degree recruiting; therapy session with Fausto; coffee with MIguel; the informational session about next semester was cancelled at the last moment; meeting with Iván from IBM about next semester’s project with students; discovered that the photos take of me were for naught.
  2. What did you enjoy? Some good meetings today with Moisés and Iván about two separate programs.
  3. What did you find difficult? I was wondering the past few weeks what was going on with this rumoured award I was going to receive. It seemed like a big deal as they had scheduled photo sessions with various professors in October but today I found out via social media that I (and most who had photos taken) were not receiving the award; or perhaps I was simply confused and they just wanted photos of us?
  4. What has changed? Another evening #educoffee (with wine) with Miguel to chat and hang out.
