Pizzas

Entry 012 for Saturday April 25th, 2020

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? It is difficult to compartmentalize work days and non-work days. I spent a couple of hours in the morning doing the “post class” work for the #TI4022 class from the day before. This involved uploading the video, ensuring the shared Google drive space was updated and crafting a detailed email with all the details in one place for the students and sending that off. I also dropped into the Saturday morning session of #TI4033 with Gaby and Jorge to say hello and listen some. That class looks interesting and I will keep tabs on the content for my own learning. I made a double batch of pizza dough which gave us enough for four medium pizzas.  We cooked two of them and made another to order for our friends/compadres (Beto and Ana) for a pickup. I believe they enjoyed it. I sauced up the fourth crust and popped it in the fridge. Our youngest cooked it for breakfast on Sunday.
  2. What did you enjoy? Cooking for others. That was a highlight.
  3. What did you find difficult? Nothing in particular today. It was a good day.
  4. What has changed? Definitely we (and I) are cooking more. That is a good thing but the trick is not to eat more. I have lost a few kilograms since the self-isolation and still would like to get back to being under 80kg again.
