Interview
Entry 585 for Friday November 19, 2021
The core questions:
Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.
- What did you do today? Class with my #TC1033 students; catching up on feedback for classes; coffee with Miguel; interview for Adriana in Argentina about flipped learning.
- What did you enjoy? It was nice to be interviewed again. Adrian is an Ex-a-Tec (from Campus Querétaro) who has lived in Argentina for about a decade and followed my work over the years.
- What did you find difficult? Feeling tired and trying to keep ahead of the projects.
- What has changed? Tgat interview was the first in quite awhile. I am using a photo here from one of my favourite interviews I was able to do with Howard Rheingold back in 2019.

Today’s Reading/Listening
Finished up “Open Veins of Latin America”, time to find another read.
It’s rewarding to read of your strong connection to previous students, especially 10 years ago for Adrian. That’s a measure not often measured. I just got a follow from UNW ds106 student I taught in 2014 who is working now in media. Eager to follow up.
Is there coffee brewing?
And first time I heard of “Ex-a-Tec” – is that semi official language?
