Student Meetings
Entry 420 for Monday June 7, 2021
The core questions:
Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.
- What did you do today? Working on project session with my #MA2002B students; #educoffee with Miguel; #TC3045 student meeting with Nataly; #MCY project meeting with Ramón; meeting with student Marisol about her upcoming intern interview.
- What did you enjoy? Really nice meetings with students today.
- What did you find difficult? Rumours stirring about our go-to-campus plans distracting/stressing me.
- What has changed? This looks like the week when we will find out more about these plans to return to campus. I worry about health and productivity first.

"If you have problems with students not reading nor acting upon descriptive feedback you provide, the here are two things to try: Provide students with the feedback but no mark/grade; Encourage students to specify to you what actions they will take in response to the feedback."](https://blog.kenbauer.me/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/13608529844_72decdc4fb_c.jpg)
Today’s Reading/Listening
Another couple chapters of “Illidan”.
what rumours have been going on about the on-campus stuff?
… finding ways to triangulate feedback through space repetition; lots of on demand and formative assessments when they’re ready to receive it.
Likely going to some days working on campus and other days from home.
