Student Meetings

Entry 420 for Monday June 7, 2021

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Working on project session with my #MA2002B students; #educoffee with Miguel; #TC3045 student meeting with Nataly; #MCY project meeting with Ramón; meeting with student Marisol about her upcoming intern interview.
  2. What did you enjoy? Really nice meetings with students today.
  3. What did you find difficult? Rumours stirring about our go-to-campus plans distracting/stressing me.
  4. What has changed? This looks like the week when we will find out more about these plans to return to campus. I worry about health and productivity first.

Text on slide. "If you have problems with students not reading nor acting upon descriptive feedback you provide, the here are two things to try: Provide students with the feedback but no mark/grade; Encourage students to specify to you what actions they will take in response to the feedback."
