Tree Falling

Entry 284 for Friday January 22, 2021

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Continued to cut down a tree on the side of the house; configuring photos using Digikam on Linux; watching #Oilers verus #MapleLeafs; mandatory fun night (MFN) in Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) with members of Alea Iacta Est (AIE); casual games late night with StupidGenius at the AIECon Winter 2021.
  2. What did you enjoy? It was really nice to participate with friends in ESO. This was my first MFN since November I believe. Stu ran an excellent session of casual games via Jackbox.TV.
  3. What did you find difficult? Cutting down that tree this week. Not just physically difficult with a hand saw but I really liked that tree which grew up past the kitchen window and to the window of the boys’ room.
  4. What has changed? First time back to MFN since November. Social time is important, we know this.

Today’s Reading/Listening

I tried doing some reading using an older Kindle from my boys but I really miss my Kindle Paperwhite.
