Hack the Planet

Entry 151 for Friday September 11, 2020

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Meeting with student Mónica about some possible projects to work on; meeting with #TC3045 students Sebastián and Georgina; #TC1028 group 92 exam; no #educoffee today; finishing work on carpentry in the bathrooms at home; update from Juan Pablo Murra about our contingency plans going forward for the Tec; #TC3045 class where we watched “Hackers” together. This was homework as assigned by next week’s guest speaker; MFN (Mandatory Fun Night) in ESO with AIE friends; AIE officer meeting;
  2. What did you enjoy? The time travel watching Hackers was unreal. I think both myself and my students needed a break from the grind and this was a good time to insert a movie as we had no guest speaker lined up for this week.
  3. What did you find difficult? I really thought that we would hear an announcement about finishing the semester online but that didn’t arrive. The uncertainty is really difficult for students and staff.
  4. What has changed? It was really nice to make it to MFN for the first time in a month as well as our monthly officer meeting for AIE. I have been missing the latest ones and I want to make these more often.
