Entry 005

A short entry.

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Today we did some yard work and tree cleaning. The palm trees and the big bunches of “mini coconuts” are messy. I started a new puzzle today and we ordered some takeout from a local Japanese restaurant. My regular morning and evening walk with Bailey. A glass of red wine before bed. I like routines.
  2. What did you enjoy? Relaxing and working on household chores together. A break from the home office mode was nice.
  3. What did you find difficult? I was contacted for possible advice/auditing of a mobile app for privacy/security purposes. No details here but I am reminded of what many of the security community are concerned about: “temporary” invasion of privacy for the focus on tackling this pandemic.
  4. What has changed? It sure has been awhile since we last enjoyed a dinner out. I miss my trips to the creamery to buy our eggs, chorizo, bacon, etc. and chat with Chuy and his family.

Not the leaves from my youth in Canada, these are from trimming our three palm trees in front of the house.
