Bubbles

Entry 083 for Sunday July 5, 2020

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Mostly relax, some house cleaning and a visit from my brother-in-law and family.
  2. What did you enjoy? Visiting and getting to see our goddaughter, Andrea. She is growing up so quickly and I haven’t seen her for quite some time.
  3. What did you find difficult? Figuring out and navigating family bubbles is tricky. We want to be as cautious as possible but being at home and not interacting with any humans “in person” just isn’t going to happy. Aurelia is working daily with her brother at his small business so we are already in a bubble between families, so these visits feel like low risk.
  4. What has changed? How are we going to navigate this going forward. I personally see this state of “no vaccine, no real treatment” for covid19 lasting through the summer of 2021. Where will this lead us?
