Entry 557 for Friday October 22, 2021

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Final presentations and final class with both of my #TC1028 groups; student meeting with Marian of #TC2007B; open office hours from 4pm-6pm for my #TC2007B students; watched the #Oilers (barely) beat the Golden Knights.
  2. What did you enjoy? Wonderful presentations by the #TC1028 students and some really nice conversations (almost all one-to-one) with various #TC2007B students in open office hours; that was a great end to an intense week.
  3. What did you find difficult? I was so tired from staying up so late the night before but the great conversations kept me awake.
  4. What has changed? The end of my teaching load for the semester (almost). I actually teach a national course for the next five week period but it is for extra pay, not part of my load. I also have a 1 unit (20 teaching hours) semester wrap-up class with the computing  students in the first week of December.
