EduCoffee Reunion
Entry 522 for Friday September 17, 2021
The core questions:
Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.
- What did you do today? A special #educoffee session; academic buddy session; AWS debugging session for our #TC2007B setup; met with Jorge R. about MS Azure configuration.
- What did you enjoy? Alan Levine asked to record an #educoffee for an upcoming podcast, so I invited some people to join us (Xinli, Lawrie, Donna, Viviana, Miguel, Jorge, Jakob, and Joe arrived). It was so wonderful and made me happy to have them and this thing I call #educoffee these past 18 months.
- What did you find difficult? The config we have for these AWS setups are confusing and not yet working. I probably should have been more active in helping set this up but my original plan was using our local systems on campus (which are dead now).
- What has changed? After talking with Jorge, I am going ahead with the Azure virtual machine setup.

Any podcasts you recommend? I love seeing that you’re continuing this journal format. I only lasted a few months with it.
