Chatting

Entry 507 for Thursday September 2, 2021

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Morning and afternoon sessions of #TC2007B focused on security threadts; blocked the rest of day to get caught up on things; a nice chat for 20 minutes with Dave Cormier about hyflex; went to the hospital to get x-rays of my leg; the reception staff battled with getting my names correct.
  2. What did you enjoy? A really nice chat with Dave Cormier; I have always admired his work and writing and this chat gave me a chance to reflect on my own process this semester.
  3. What did you find difficult? Feeling crushed under the weight of so many things at once. I’m okay but definitely leaning on my 25+ years of experience teaching to get me through this time.
  4. What has changed? I am starting to see the end of some tasks and feeling caught up. But I have this sneaky suspicion that some tasks will show up for our first “SemanaTec” of the semester.
