Training Course

Entry 471 for Wednesday July 28, 2021

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Adjusted my workstation setup (see photo); all day course (three days actually) about how to support the ethics and human interest in the #TC2007B course block that I am leading/teaching this semester; meeting with Miguel Ángel about the past semester’s TC2005B course since he may teach it in the coming semester.
  2. What did you enjoy? Talking to colleagues who are teaching the same course in other campuses during our breakout room sessions in the course. It is so nice to see their faces and hear their voices.
  3. What did you find difficult? Realizing that amount of work and critical tasks still left to do before classes start on August 9th.
  4. What has changed? My neck was hurting from looking down on the monitors after raising my chair to be the right height for the keyboard. Books to the rescue.

An image of using books to raise up computer monitors to a comfortable height. I recommend that while sitting (or standing) straight in a good position with your eyes at the middle of the monitor.
