Entry 437 for Thursday June 24, 2021

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Meeting with student Andrea about her project for a food bank; meeting with Fredele about planning for a Lightning Talk we will do together for the RNP2021; looking ahead to the next semester for my upcoming classes; catching up on feedback for TC4024; a good TC4024 class with Roberto and our students; a strong rain storm that briefly interrupted our class.
  2. What did you enjoy? A really nice meeting with my student Andrea followed up with a great chat with Fredele.
  3. What did you find difficult? Still not feeling close to 80% for energy but improving.
  4. What has changed? Giving the Cybersecurity masters class which runs on a trimester creates a buffer that lives between the end of the past semester and into the next. We have two more weeks of the trimester which brings us very close to the start of the August semester. This was the same last year but I was also teaching summer classes for undergrad which I am not doing this year.
