Fibula

Entry 425 for Saturday June 12, 2021

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Cleaning up on dishes and laundry; working with A3 on homework assignments that are due; went to walk Bailey and start the van; slipped and fell, went to hospital (thanks Beto) and into surgery for a fractured fibula.
  2. What did you enjoy? The morning was good.
  3. What did you find difficult? Staying calm and dealing with an injury. I managed to keep it together with the help of friends and family.
  4. What has changed? I have a plate and two screws in my right leg now.

  1. Also not at all Bailey’s fault, I turned too quickly, slipped and fell which twisted that leg *hard*. Extended my arm (the one with the leash) to avoid falling hard and making sure not to fall on her. That “crack” sound was telling and it hurt like heck.
