Entry 403 for Friday May 21, 2021

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? MA2002B class; meeting with MCY student Edgar; #educoffee with five countries represented; ACM Guadalajara student chapter for the Tec meeting; CEDDIE “Profesor Inspirador” awards ceremony for the RZO; meeting with TC3045 student Reynaldo; Friday evening session with Roberto for our national MA2002B program; watched the Oilers lose in overtime in a game they played well; missed a birthday celebration for my niece and also missed this weeks AIE MFN in ESO.
  2. What did you enjoy? Great educoffee today, I was having a stressful day and the smiles on that image made the day better. First time seeing Graziano in #educoffee and I had not seen Viv in months.
  3. What did you find difficult? A few years ago I decided not to apply for that award again, it seems that my efforts to inspire through educators as much as I do with my students isn’t what is being looked for in these awards. I thought I had a crazy productive and giving 2020 including some recognition for my work already from external and internal groups. The frustration is too much and I forbid to do that to myself again.
  4. What has changed? The semester is almost over, time to plan the summer weeks before we start up again in August. I made an appointment to visit the campus and the new classroom setup next week.
