Student Meetings

Entry 393 for Tuesday May 11, 2021

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Class with my #MA2002B group; student meetings from #TC2005B and #MCY with Xavier, Miguel, Alex, Hugo, and Victor; received delivery of solar panels; meeting with Sebastián M. about ACM Student Chapter; meeting with my student assistant Maribel;  Flipped Learning Network board meeting; first meeting with Roberto from Kaspersky México with the #MA2002B students from all three campuses (Guadalajara, Mexico State, and Monterrey).
  2. What did you enjoy? I love meeting with my students one to one and had many of those meetings today.
  3. What did you find difficult? Communication breakdown led to the solar panels being delivered today but we didn’t expect them which threw me into the stress of dealing with that while talking to my students (sorry Alex).
  4. What has changed? Today I was able to witness a successful launch of our sessions with our education partner (socio formador) Kaspersky México for our #MA2002B at the national level. We have been working on this for almost a year and nice to see it in action today.
