Cybersecurity

Entry 372 for Tuesday April 20, 2021

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Preparation work for #TC4024 Cybersecurity Intelligence which starts on Thursday; meeting with Roberto about that course; meeting with Jorge and Raúl about the MCY (Masters in Cyber Security) project  course; dropped in to view the seminar with Leslie Lamport.
  2. What did you enjoy? It is so nice to be able to work once again with Roberto, I am looking forward to this.
  3. What did you find difficult? The session with Dr. Lamport started very awkward. It all turned out well but the start was difficult with perhaps a lack of structure to the discussion including introduction and thank you. I’m viewing this with an eye to our future Cybersecurity seminar series.
  4. What has changed? With the planning for TC4024, we are in the swing of closing out spring semester while entering summer. The masters program runs on a trimester (12 week) schedule so it is shifted from the 16 week semester system of the undergraduate programs.

Today’s Reading/Listening

Not a lot of time for reading today other than the reading while doing preparation for that course. I listened to chapter 2 of “All Systems Red”.
