The core questions:
Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.
- What did you do today? Went to DHL to send a passport application; bought shrimp and red snapper (guachinango) at the local fish market; #educoffee with Miguel; meeting with student Vinicio; meetings with #TC3045 students Hugo and Carlos; watched the David Garza (and others) talk about the launch of the Strategic Plan for 2025 of the Tec de Monterrey; prepared the shrimp and the fish for lunch for everyone; short #educoffee with Miguel; meeting with #TC3045 student Iván; watched most of the #Oilers 6-2 win over Ottawa, I fell asleep sometime in the 3rd period.
- What did you enjoy? Some great conversations with my students.
- What did you find difficult? Figuring out the gymnastics of academic loads and “which department pays what” for certain extra tasks. The process seemed more transparent before and is more difficult to track now.
- What has changed? One year into the pandemic (David Garza released three videos “Agradecimiento a la comunidad Tec ante la pandemia”, “El Tec ante la pandemia”, “Memorial a colaboradores de la comunidad por Covid-19”) earlier in the morning before his discussion of our plan going forward to 2025 in the afternoon.
