Nineteen

Entry 320 for Saturday February 28, 2021

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Early cleanup and then a trip to the town of Tequila for a birthday meal for Alejandra; spent the day walking around the town of Tequila; listened to the #Oilers game on the way home; dropped into the Alea Iacta Est SNL (Saturday Night Lotro) weekly event.
  2. What did you enjoy? I think this was my first visit to the town of Tequila. I had been to distilleries in the past via the Tequila train. The town is very clean and well organized.
  3. What did you find difficult? Too many people crowded inside a restaurant. I thought there was supposed to be half capacity but this definitely was not meeting those guidelines. I stayed outside as much as possible.
  4. What has changed? The country and the state of Jalisco are pushing toward “yellow zone” declarations in what I think are cooked numbers. The vaccinations are not happening enough yet and I don’t see the logic in pushing for opening up and taking more risk of another spike and hospital saturation.
