Entry 247 for Wednesday December 16, 2020

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Out with Bailey at 7am; trip to the flower stalls for roses and alstroemerias; meeting with Fabiola about #TC2005B; anniversary lunch with the kids for seafood; drive across the city for therapy appointment; setup an alternative Kindle for reading; cleaning up some pending items for #TC2005B and #MA2002B; helping my dad recover his iMac setup; early to bed.
  2. What did you enjoy? It was nice to go out for lunch with the family. We sat right at an open window on the patio of the seafood place. I miss cooking for guests at home but also going out for meals.
  3. What did you find difficult? Something affected my stomach. I ate “camarones chipotle” which had a cream sauce that my stomach didn’t agree with.
  4. What has changed? We had planned a trip together in the summer to Washington, DC for SIGGRAPH 2020 that didn’t happen and spent most of our 20th anniversary year inside. Definitely a strange year but it is good to be together.

Today’s Reading/Listening

As I setup one of the boy’s Kindle for reading (mine is dead, they rarely use it), I installed a few books but didn’t read any today.
