Vacations on the Horizon

Entry 218 for Tuesday November 17, 2020

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Design work for courses; #educoffee with Miguel; #TC3045 short class where we watched part two of “Steal this Film“.
  2. What did you enjoy? A really nice hangout meeting with my #TC3045 students. They seem to appreciate the course and design and especially the invited speakers.
  3. What did you find difficult? Keeping everything going while worrying about the next semester without worrying too much about it.
  4. What has changed? I have been postponing the request for my vacation days for months. There seemed to be no point but now the decision is pretty much without choice. So I booked the last two weeks of December (pretty much prescribed) which is 8 days due to holidays on the 25th and January 1st. That left 17 days in January which took all but the last three days of the month. Those three days are taken by the extra days gifted to us recently. So I have the entire month of January off work.
