Lest We Forget

Entry 212 for Wednesday November 11, 2020

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Meeting about #MA2002B industry partner; #educoffee with Jorge P. and Miguel; evening meeting with Karina.
  2. What did you enjoy? Today was a day to remember those who served to defend our freedom. My grandfather was a Cree soldier for Canada in the second world war, my father spent his entire working career in the Royal Canadian Navy. I am proud of both for their sacrifices.
  3. What did you find difficult? A long drive to go visit Karina and long drive back. Good honest conversation about difficult times.
  4. What has changed? This one be the first time in decades that my father has not participated in a Remembrance Day parade. It is also unlikely we will see my parents this winter for the first time in decades.
