Numbers

Note: I noticed that I missed 179 so needed to patch things up with a renumbering.

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Recording (Spanish and English) and released (Spanish) a “welcome back to #TechEduTips” video; #TC1028 group 91; meeting with student Iván; #educoffee with Miguel; #MA2002B meeting; meeting with #TC3045 student Vinicio.
  2. What did you enjoy? It feels nice to get back into producing this #TechEduTips series. I noticed in the past that my Spanish language videos generated more traffic but will experiment with 3 videos a week (each in Spanish and English). I record each language back to back on the same topic to speed up the recording as well as production. This creates a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule for Spanish language videos and Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday in English. The production is still three times a week, I record, edit, and upload it all in one session for each video and use YouTube’s delayed release to schedule.
  3. What did you find difficult? Keeping all the projects scheduled while looking far enough ahead for giving feedback to current students and planning the next set of courses.
  4. What has changed? I have switched to Kdenlive (from Openshot) as it is more stable. I need to work on some production tools including transitions and some other effects. That will come when I have time.
