Campus Life

Entry 161 for Monday September 21, 2020

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Recorded videos, edited page and sent out emails for #OpenFlip week 5 content; #TC1028 class with group 91 to start the 2nd period of the semester; visited campus to pickup supplies; #educoffee with Jakob; catching up on 4 posts in this #LifeOnTheGround series; meeting with professors in our region teaching science blocks this period (thanks Fabiola); meeting with Ari from #TC3045.
  2. What did you enjoy? A great conversation with Jakob. I truly appreciate many of the colleagues and friends that meet with me almost daily in this space I created. It definitely fills the void that I miss from meeting colleagues for lunch or coffee on campus.
  3. What did you find difficult? I visited campus to pickup a webcam (Logitech C920s pro) that was ordered for me as well as many books and some supplies, it felt very strange to visit the empty campus again and I truly wonder when normal campus life will resume. I miss seeing my colleagues.
  4. What has changed? This change from our daily campus life replaced with online all the time. I believe that I have found some ways to replace those activities with #educoffee and other projects.
