Fiestas Patrias

Entry 156 for Wednesday September 16, 2020

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Today is a holiday here in México; I slept in until 8am; house cleaning and a meltdown by our youngest which led to some long talks, laying down some consequences and hopefully some lessons learned by all; #openflip week four English conversation; trying to fix my Kindle.
  2. What did you enjoy? A really nice conversation with Kate, Adriana and Daniela. I needed that at the end of the day.
  3. What did you find difficult? My Kindle Paperwhite died. No battery. Hopefully I can get a replacement battery in this for a reasonable price.
  4. What has changed? Mid week holiday today but didn’t feel at all the same. Every year we go to celebrate #FiestasPatrias but not this year. I found this image from when Alan was visiting and we took them out for lunch despite warnings to stay in their hotel due to a “narcobloqueo”.
