Flexible Environment

Entry 135 for Wednesday August 26, 2020

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Course design and planning for #TC1028, TC3045 and #MA2002B; nice meeting with Diego from #TC3045; really nice meeting with Julia about a project that may interest students; no #educoffee participation today; wrote many catch-up posts for this series; #OpenFlip English session (topic: Flexible Environment) with guests Katie and Matthew.
  2. What did you enjoy? A really nice conversation with my colleague Julia from the architecture department on campus about a project that may interest my students as well as our experiences teaching online.
  3. What did you find difficult? Not difficult, but perhaps interesting. I didn’t expect the Spanish cohort of #OpenFlip to be that much bigger than the English cohort. Not many people connecting for the session today but that is still okay. The previous courses back 4+ years ago rarely had people join live when they were Google Hangouts limited to just 10 people.
  4. What has changed? Another cycle of low #educoffee participation. Perhaps the time change did this, not sure.
