MOOC

Entry 129 for Thursday August 20, 2020

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Produced and released a #LinuxTips video on system files backup with Timeshift; #TC1028 class; took the mid-day off and relaxed; keynote talk on #flipclass for Universidad Privada del Norte (UPN-Perú); #OpenFlip Summer 2020 chat session with the Spanish group.
  2. What did you enjoy? Both the talk for the university in Perú and the conversation with the Spanish speaker collection for #OpenFlip. Apparently we had 46 connected in the Zoom session and over 270 people registered (total including English and Spanish) for the cMOOC.
  3. What did you find difficult? Giving a talk and not being able to see people like that keynote today. I really appreciate an online system that lets me see humans.
  4. What has changed? I’m getting a lot of requests related to #flipclass. I’ve been at this for eight years, my focus had shifted more to open pedagogy and digital pedagogy but the desire to learn about flipped learning is still strong.
