First Quarter

Entry 060 for Friday June 12, 2020

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Last sessions for both #TC1030 and #TC1033. This was a nice goodbye (or “see you later”) session in both classes and I am looking forward to reviewing these “last class” videos years from now; #Semana18 meeting with Monserrat; #TI2011 class team teaching with Robert; release (prerecorded) of my #TechEduTips video about Speaker Deck.
  2. What did you enjoy? A rousing, extended length (over an hour) #educoffee with Lawrie, Donna, Jakob, and Dave. I deeply respect the work of all of these friends and colleagues and this break in the day really helped keep my energy up.
  3. What did you find difficult? Another really long day ending with the 6pm-10pm #TI4022 class. That class is excellent and I learn very much from my colleague Roberto but this is a long day. I missed the Alea Iacta Est officers meeting as I was just too tired to stay up for it.
  4. What has changed? Today celebrates three months since the announcement of shifting to online mode. MFD+ (modelo flexible, digital, plus) is the term we use at the Tecnológico de Monterrey. I anticipate personally working from home for the rest of 2020 with a few trips to campus for specific meetings or projects.
