Remember

Entry 577 for Thursday November 11, 2021

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Therapy with Fausto; picked up my work cellphone and participated in an earthquake drill; caught a Remembrance Day ceremony virtually via the Canadian Embassy in México; coffee with Miguel; meeting with Ale, Raime, Jorge, and Jaime about aligning the MCY program with undergraduate cybersecurity concentration; watched the #Oilers defeat the #Bruins.
  2. What did you enjoy? Nice to watch the hockey games this year, definitely enjoying them.
  3. What did you find difficult? Just as I was about to go to the delivery center to pick up my work cellphone there was an earthquake drill for the high school part of the campus. So I got to stand for an extra 20 minutes or so in the sun and almost missed the Remembrance Day ceremony.
  4. What has changed? We asked for cellphones for our role as directors of the cybersecurity program and they arrived. It will be good to separate work communication from personal communication this way.
