Connecting

Entry 080 for Thursday July 2, 2020

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Edit and release a #LinuxTips video on installation of packages in Manjaro; meeting with a student Masha to talk about disk layout and configuration of partitions under a dual-boot Linux/Win10 setup; edited and released the blog post for an upcoming Virtually Connecting “Missed Conversation OLC Innovate“; #educoffee with Pablo and Viviana; reviewing some excellent comments/data from my #educoffee survey; meeting with Joel to talk about #FlipTech2020; #TC1028 class to wrap up the week with that course.
  2. What did you enjoy? The comments and stories coming from #educoffee friends gave me a reason to believe that this project really has value for people. And not just this “instance” of #educoffee but the idea in general which I think can and should be replicated.
  3. What did you find difficult? My meeting with Masha, I think that I helped but I was rather distracted. I am feeling the burn out.
  4. What has changed? Sleeping in. Today I didn’t get up until 8:30am. This is probably both good (resting) and bad (noticing that I am running out of steam).
