Cinco de Mayo

Entry 022 for Tuesday May 5, 2020

The core questions:

Credit goes to Ben and readers of his blog for these “Four Questions” and the five stretch questions.

  1. What did you do today? Today was the first day or our three day for preparing in groups for courses that will be offered for the first time in August 2020 with our new #Tec21 degrees. I am participating in the #TI1015 group with colleagues Ana Raquel, Ivan and led by Luis. This was the second day with no #educoffee which makes me sad but I will continue to offer this for at least the summer. A nice student meeting with Diego of #TI2011 and dominoes in the evening with the family.
  2. What did you enjoy? Working with colleagues on preparing for a new course. Three of us have been part of the Tec for decades and one is a new professor.
  3. What did you find difficult? I wonder if my #educoffee has “run it’s course” or this is just timing. I will keep it running even when it is just myself.
  4. What has changed? Still working on the change of sleeping habits. This is the last week of classes for our daughter Alejandra in high school. Her last weeks of high school are so different from what mine was in 1987 in so many ways that were predictable but also others that we didn’t see coming at us.
